出身于马来西亚槟城的女高音周诗韵，目前是音契儿童诗班及疏邦城市门徒长老会诗班的指挥。也曾在学校担任声乐与合唱导师。

诗韵曾多次参与由鲍以灵老师和陈子虔博士指挥的音乐会，在音契圣乐团与马来西亚巴赫节担任独唱与合唱团员。她在2012年被邀参与了《向主扬声》音契首届十位年轻基督徒巡回演唱会，并于2013年获得第八届音契歌唱观摩赛亚军。

诗韵自小学习钢琴，之后进入Te Deum Music Workshop主修钢琴、副修声乐。诗韵在鲍以灵老师的指导下学习钢琴演奏与伴奏。其声乐启蒙老师为女高音叶洁芝，后师从张金龙、洪美凤、卢瓊蓉以及钟开鹏学习。

Born in Penang, Malaysian soprano Chew Shi Yun currently serves as the Director of Yin Qi Children’s Choir and Subang City Discipleship Presbyterian Chinese Church Choir. She was the vocal and choir coach in Ivory Training Centre in 2013-2019.

Over the years, Shi Yun has appeared as an active concert soloist and chorister in collaboration with renowned conductors Elaine Pao (Yin Qi Choir) and Dr. David Chin (Bachfest Malaysia). She was one of the soloists at the Yin Qi Young Christian Singers Concert Tour in2012. She was the first runner-up in Yin Qi’s 8^th Singing Competition in 2013.

Shi Yun holds Diploma in Musician Building from Te Deum Music Workshop. She pursued her piano performance and collaborative piano under the tutelage of renowned pianist Elaine Pao. She also studied vocal performance with sopranos Cecilia Yap, Mei Foong Ang, Chiong Rong Lu, tenor Solomon Chong, and tenor Peter Chung.
