11岁开始学钢琴，1984年ABRSM第八级钢琴考试特优。2002年为求精进琴艺，师从钢琴名家卢邦贤约3年，2003年考获Trinity ATCL 钢琴演奏文凭，2004年考获Trinity LTCL 钢琴演奏文凭。

2006年参加音契圣乐节，的韩德尔《弥赛亚》演出，在联合诗班中唱男高音。2007至2009年参加音契诗班时，曾参与莫扎特的《安魂曲》和巴哈的B小调弥撒曲演出。

2008年9月20日为假吉隆坡浸信教会举办的“得胜之歌”合唱音乐会担任钢琴伴奏。2012年7月开始为八打灵东南亚花园中文浸信会诗班伴奏，直到今天。2013年参加《荣耀圣诗夜》诗班演出，由鲍以灵老师指挥；2019年参加《荣耀圣诗夜II》诗班演出，由郑联晨弟兄指挥。2019年参加李斯特国际钢琴比赛，初赛得银奖，决赛赴布达佩斯获颁荣誉提名。

文康热爱古典音乐，仍尝试自学涉猎新曲目。他也乐意为人弹奏，同享音乐之妙。

Ng Mun Hong started piano lesson at 11. He scored a distinction in ABRSM Grade 8 piano in 1984. In 2002, for furtherance in his piano playing, he studied under the famous pianist Lu Bang Hean for about 3 years. In 2003, he acquired Trinity ATCL Diploma in piano performance, and in 2004, Trinity LTCL Diploma in piano performance.

In 2006, he participated in Yinqi’s Sacred Music Festival, as a tenor in the joint choir in Handel’s “Messiah”.From 2007 to 2009, he joined Yinqi choir and had sung Mozart’s “Requiem” and Bach’s Mass in B Minor.

On September 20, 2008, he provided piano accompaniment for “Song of Victory” choral concert held at Kuala Lumpur Baptist Church.Since July 2012, he has been the pianist for the choir of PJ Sea Park Chinese Baptist Church, until today.

In 2013, he joined the choir for “Glorious Night of Hymn” under the baton of Teacher Elaine Pao. In 2019, he joined the choir for “Glorious Night of Hymn II” under the baton of Brother Caeleb Tee.
