林紫祈，生于马来西亚吉隆坡。目前就读于思特雅大学，攻读古典音乐（荣誉）音乐学士，并师从 Carolyn Lo May Yeeng。她也曾师从李美燕与 Chew Guey Shian。

求学期间，紫祈获得思特雅大学基金会奖学金，于同伴辅助学习计划下教导乐理。除了教学，她还担任 UCSI Singers 的伴奏及室内乐团的客座乐手。

此外，她还在各大钢琴比赛中屡获奖项，包括莫扎特国际钢琴比赛银奖；2019年马来西亚艺术学院青少年音乐比赛金奖；第六届香港国际青少年表演艺术节的最佳钢琴家奖与金奖以及第十六届香港（亚太区）钢琴大赛冠军。

她也获得了全额奖学金参与第二届新千禧年国际室内乐音乐节及 Josu de Solaun 的大师班。

Lim Zhi Qi was born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Classical Music (Hons.) at UCSI University, under the tutelage of Carolyn Lo May Yeeng. Her past teachers include Lee Mei Yen and Chew Guey Shian.

Zhi Qi is a recipient of the UCSI University Trust Scholarship, where she teaches music theory under the Peer Assisted Learning mentorship programme. Apart from teaching, she serves as the accompanist of the UCSI Singers and guest pianist in chamber music ensembles.

In addition, she has won many piano competitions, including a silver award for Mozart International Piano Competition; gold award for MIA Young Musician Competition 2019; best pianist award and gold award at the 6th Hong Kong International Youth Performance Arts Festival and the first prize of the 16th Hong Kong (Asia Pacific) Piano Competition.

She was also offered a full scholarship to participate in the 2nd New Millennium International Chamber Music Festival and Masterclasses by Josu de Solaun.
