马来西亚杰出的指挥、钢琴演奏家与伴奏。

一九八二年考取美国普林斯顿的 Westminster Choir College最高荣誉音乐学士学位、随名师 Harold Zabrack 主修钢琴演奏，并从师纽约 Metropolitan Opera House 的诠释老师Martin Katz习钢琴伴奏。在学期间被选为 Pi Kappa Lambda 国家荣誉音乐协会会员，亦于所参加了两年的 Westminster Symphonic Choir中与国际级的指挥与乐团在世界殿堂级的音乐厅演出，吸取了不少宝贵的音乐、合唱经验。

回国后，为已故男高音陈容、著名女高音卓如燕的无数演出伴奏，被喻为“铁三角”。也常是众多国内外著名演唱者的钢琴伴奏。除了专职为音乐会伴奏、指挥、训练“音契圣乐团”和在“音契圣乐传播中心”长期推动神剧的演出与其他圣乐工作外，常被邀到各处去演出、主领圣乐训练与课程，也活跃于基督教内外大型活动的演出。过去曾指挥的演出有巴哈的清唱剧、莫扎特的安魂曲、孟德尔颂的以利亚、韩德尔的弥赛亚、巴哈的圣马太受难曲、海顿的创世记、巴哈的独唱清唱剧与尊主颂等。曾为无数伟大音乐作品析讲音乐鉴赏讲座，并于2008年首创3天的巴哈音乐营，包括两套清唱剧的演出，介绍伟大的圣乐之父。更在2013年10月至11月间，带领指挥六场的《荣耀圣诗夜》巡回音乐会于槟城、实兆远、怡保、而连突、马六甲和吉隆坡。

曾于马来西亚神学院教授圣乐课程，更是曾经位于吉隆坡旧吧生路与蒲种的 Te Deum 教会音乐工作坊和小型演奏厅Te Deum Auditorium 的创办人，致力藉着各种的训练和演奏，逐步推动从以圣经为基础的音乐教育，提升大众对音乐的鉴赏能力，和音乐演奏艺术的推广，并曾于2007至2013年推出全时间音乐家与教会音乐家文凭培训课程，培训人才。除了训练，Te Deum 也举办音乐会如 2014年五月的Baroque & I与七月亲自钢琴独奏的演出并交由她的学生李国良指挥的My Passion, My Life, My Music，和九月的The Intimate Mozart室内乐演奏会，孕育音乐环境，提供平台给有音乐才华的人。2014年11月更指挥了一场不可多得的演出：孟德尔松第五交响曲“宗教改革”与莫扎特的“安魂曲”。2015年她带领音契突破性的在吉隆坡以外的实兆远举行“2015圣乐节”，名为“在基督的指望中～曼绒，扬声！”，于8月30日推动圣诗咏唱与11月29日举办曼绒首演的韩德尔神剧“弥赛亚”。

她于2012年7月获颁《陈容音乐艺术奖》。

2016年8月所指挥另一场神剧的盛大演出：孟德尔松的“以利亚”，以及2017 年6月至8月的圣乐节“在基督的指望中～留下生命的印记” 里各项的节目如认识贝多芬的讲座、伴奏女高音洪美风主唱的贝多芬艺术歌曲、指挥贝多芬第4号钢琴协奏曲、准备由李国良指挥的贝多芬第九交响曲的合唱团与亲自指挥为马来西亚首演的贝多芬庄严弥撒曲作为圣乐节之闭幕音乐会，皆获得非凡的口碑和赞赏。

2018年受邀担任在吉隆坡举办的国际歌咏比赛之评审，也受邀参与新加坡维多利亚音乐厅演出的德沃夏克D大调弥撒曲，为其诗班进行训练。2019亦继续推动发起圣乐节于3/9 演出莫札特的C小调弥撒曲K.427和30/11的“荣耀圣诗夜II”，也受邀担任多个歌咏比赛之评审。2020年初，她与女高音叶洁芝合作“朝圣者之歌”音乐会，呈献两部圣乐歌曲。

目前，她是音契少年诗班的指挥，音契圣乐团的顾问，也在蒲种创办音乐中心，并专注于训练钢琴伴奏。

A renowned Choral-Orchestral Conductor and an accomplished and artistic pianist as well as a Piano Collaborator. She went to Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey, U.S.A. in 1978. Majored in Piano Performance with Harold Zabrack, and for 2 years coached by Martin Katz from The Metropolitan Opera House in piano accompanying.

Her academic and musical achievements during these years in the States won her not only Fern Lorena Hood Scholarship, but was also presented membership from a national music society Pi Kappa Lambda.

Her many choral and musical experiences contribute to her success. One of these was being member of Westminster Symphonic Choir, which sang every season with New York Philharmonic Orchestra, Paris Philharmonic Orchestra and others under the baton of Zubin Mehta, Daniel Baremboim, Pendereski at Avery Fisher Hall in Lincoln Centre, New York as well as Kennedy Hall in Washington D.C.

She came back from the States in 1982 with a “Summa cum Laude” in Bachelor in Music. She committed herself and her music in two main areas : church music and  accompanying voice recitals. Not only does she play the piano, she also composes, arranges music, gives seminars and workshops, trains choirs and pianists, teaches in theological seminary, and also active in organizing, promoting and conducting Oratorios like Handel’s Messiah, Mozart’s Requiem, Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Bach’s St.Matthew Passion and Haydn’s The Creation performances. On the recital scenes, she has performed with Armando Chin Yong and Angela Chock in almost the whole of Malaysia with great success. They were also invited to perform in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Their performance at Malaysia’s first National Theatre “Istana Budaya” in November 1999 received good acclaims. She also gave a performance on the Mozart’s Piano Concerto No.21 in C Major in a charity Concert co-organized by Sin Chew Daily in 2004. Her artistry on the piano has collaborated in the past with outstanding singers like Solomon Chong, Cecilia Yap, David Ngim and many others.

She was granted a “Chin Yong Art of Music” award in 2012 for her many artistic contributions in the musical scenes in the past.

She has taught part time on Church Music at Seminary Theological Malaysia in Seremban for 2 years. Currently, other than her concertizing commitment, she conducts the Yin Qi Choir as well as directs Oratorio performances and Sacred Music Festival hosted by Yin Qi Music Centre Bhd., also gives seminars, coaches piano performance and accompanying.

As a conductor, her many successful concerts include major works like Bach Cantatas, Mozart’s Requiem, Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Handel’s Messiah, Bach’s St.Matthew Passion, Haydn’s The Creation, Bach’s Solo and Choral Cantatas and Magnificat, etc. Her conducting commitment also includes a series of 6 Touring concerts of “Glorious Night of Hymns” to Penang, Sitiawan, Ipoh, Jerantut, Melaka and Kuala Lumpur in October and November 2013 hosted by Yin Qi, also a concert of Baroque music “Baroque & I” with outstanding young local artists in May 2014 and produced “The Intimate Mozart” Chamber Music Concert in September 2014 hosted by Te Deum Music Workshop under the management of her daughter, Lydia Oh. She also performed a Schumann Piano Concerto as the soloist in “My Passion, My Life, My Music” in July 2014 under the baton of her student Lee Kok Leong organized by Te Deum. She then conducted a performance of Mendelssohn Symphony No.5 “The Reformation” and Mozart’s Requiem in November 2014 hosted by Yin Qi.

2015 sees a break through in Yin Qi ministries as she hosted the “2015 Sacred Music Festival” in Sitiawan titled “Lift up your voice: Manjung” featuring on 30 August a workshop on Hymn Singing and on 29 November a debut in Sitiawan of Handel’s oratorio “Messiah” in its full scale in great success featuring soloists Angela Chock, Ashley Tan, Anna Koor, Tan Wei Han and Mak Chi Hoe. The production of Mendelssohn’s great oratorio “Elijah” under her baton in 2016 August and the Beethoven programmes in 2017 Sacred Music Festival from June to August including talks on Beethoven, Collaboration with soprano Ang Mei Foong on Beethoven’s lieder, conducting Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.4 in G Major, coached and prepared the choir singing in Beethoven’s Symphony No.9 under the baton of Mr. Lee Kok Leong, and to mark the closing of the festival by conducting the premiere performance of Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis in Malaysia, all received great acclaims. 

In the following year, she was invited to be one of the judges for an International Choir Competition held in Kl. Was invited to coach and join performance of Dvorak Mass in D in Victoria Concert Hall, Singapore in 2018. In 2019, brought the Sacred Music Festival to a new height with Mozart Mass in c minor K. 427 and an incredible “Glorious Night of Hymn II” with 170 combined choir members under 3-months training to present hymns accompanied by a full orchestra. She was also invited to be one of the judges for a Choral Competition for Secular amateur Choirs and a Church Choir Competition in September 2019.

At the beginning of 2020 she collaborated with Soprano Cecilia Yap on the piano for 2 performances of 2 Sacred Song Cycles on 4-5/1, pioneering the performing of this music category in a concert opened to the public.

Being now the conductor of Yin Qi Youth Choir and the advisory conductor of Yin Qi Choir, She now runs her own music studio in Puchong focusing on piano coaching.
